Little Eden is a registered non-profit organisation which provides life-long care to 300 children and adults with profound intellectual disability in two residential facilities – Domitilla and Danny Hyams Home in Edenvale, and Elvira Rota Village, in Bapsfontein. Most of the residents’ function at new-born level and have to be fed, carried, changed and bathed. Others are able to manage smalls tasks like feeding themselves, brushing their teeth, dressing and using the toilet. Little Eden provides daily warmth, meals, medical attention, care and love alongside therapeutic programs where possible.

Little Eden is licensed to operate under the Department of Health Gauteng Provincial Government and its core aim is to develop the residents to their full potential and to encourage the community to recognise that each person’s life has value.

Lady Fatima is a residential home for the elderly, operating since 1996, based in Benoni, Gauteng. The home caters for around 35 residents which are between the ages of 60 – 95 years old. The residents are the heart of the home. With that being said, each person receives 3 meals per day with a tea-time at 3pm, a nurse visits the home twice a week (Monday & Thursday) and each resident has their own bedroom with individual bathrooms (no sharing of bathrooms). The monthly fee is between R8 500-00 to R19 000.
